I was born in the picturesque seaside area of Mullinasole, Laghey in South - Donegal. Inspired by stunning sunsets, and rugged coastlines, I picked up a camera at a young age. I developed a wild mind and formed a disciplined eye for light, , colour and an understanding of composition, and framing. I knew filmmaking was not just my passion but a career I was keen to pursue.
I attended GMIT School of Design and Creative Arts studying the Film & TV course for three years from 2010-2013, graduating with a BA in Film and TV, specialising in three areas of film and TV production; Cinematography/Lighting, Audio and Documentary.
Mullaney Media is a creative video agency that specialises in online promotional videos and live events for the commercial, retail and public sector. We have produced many promotional videos for companies in Donegal over the years. Mullaney Media was delighted to showcase our 20 minute Historical Film we filmed & directed , entitled: ‘The Story of Ancient Drumhome’, at Allingham Arts Festival in Ballyshannon, Donegal in 2023. This film celebrates the life of St. Cholmcille during his 1500 Anniversary celebrations and a host of iconic Irish Saints, such as; St Patrick & St. Bridget feature prominently throughout the film. I have had my video work showcased on two episodes of RTÉ’S Nationwide in 2020 & 2024.
We are skilled in many areas , such as; directing, camera, lighting, editing and post sound production. We use the highest of industry standard broadcast cameras, lighting and audio.
